Jada Star Carvell Goody

Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, March 10, 2020, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Jada Star Carvell Goody, 33, who passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020, at Lafayette General Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Tuesday. Deacon Ken Soignier will officiate at the Funeral Service. Jada worked at Fresh Pickin's Market in Lafayette for many years. She had a bright and bubbly personality and always knew how to put a smile on everyone's face. She loved the outdoors and as a pastime, she enjoyed hunting and fishing. Jada cherished those moments spent with her family and friends, most especially her children. She is survived by her daughters, Layla Raine Goody and Savanna Storm Goody, both of St. Martinville; her mother, Ann Carvell Jordan and spouse Albert Boudreaux of Lafayette; sister, Sommer Sky Jupiter and husband Robert of Youngsville; mother and father-in-law, Joseph and Mary Goody of Lafayette; step sons, James Malveaux of Lafayette, Brandon C. Goody of Birmingham, AL, Christopher Goody of Port Arthur, TX; and step daughter, Elizabeth Goody of Port Arthur, TX. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Goody; father, Dave Allen Carvell; and her sister, Misty Dawn Carvell.
