James "Jim" Auguillard
Breaux Bridge- A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, December 7, 2019, at Living Word Fellowship, 3326 Main Hwy, Breaux Bridge, LA 70517, for James "Jim" Auguillard, 79, who passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2019, at his home.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the church from 8:00 am until time of funeral service.
James Patrick Auguillard will officiate at the Funeral Service. Obituary reading will be done by Christiana Castille. Eulogy will be done by Ashli Auguillard.
Interment will follow at in the church cemetery.
James, better known as Jim, was born in St. Martinville to the late August and Della Detiege' Auguillard. He worked for Bostic Concrete and Cement, LLC for 10 years before retiring from Martin Mills after 30 years of employment. Jim liked watching t.v., fishing, and gardening. He enjoyed helping with his grandchildren in their upbringing of his great-grandchildren. Jim was also a die hard fan of the Saints and the Lakers. He was a good husband, father, and grandfather. Jim was also a proud and loyal deacon of Living Word Fellowship. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Julienne Papillion Auguillard; Sons: James Patrick Auguillard and wife Lou Ann of Breaux Bridge, Eugene Auguillard and wife Jessica of Kernersville, NC, and D'vonte' Sam of Breaux Bridge; Daughter: Samantha Auguillard Sam and husband Denzel; Brothers: Robert Auguillard and wife Margaret, and Charles Auguillard and wife Audrey; Grandchildren: Heather A. Goodie, Stacy Auguillard, Trent Henry, Briahn Auguillard, James Patrick Auguillard Jr., Ashli Auguillard, La' Shante Jupiter, La' Tisha Jupiter, Jordan Sam, Cailey Auguillard, Christiana Castille, Calyb Auguillard, Va' Sean Palmer,and J' Nyah Auguillard; and 10 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, August and Della Auguillard; brothers, Claude, Sydney, Harold and Russell Auguillard, and Pedro Alexander; sisters, Elviege' St. Julien, Mazel Boyd, Leona Boyd, and Margaret Gordon; mother in law, Irene Jolivette; and sister-in-law, Rose Victor.
Pallbearers will be D' vonte' Sam, Trent Henry, Jordan Sam, Briahn Auguillard, James Patrick Auguillard Jr., and Calyb Auguillard.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Carroll Hopkins, Daylon John, Kalin Goodie, Va'Sean Palmer, Corien Mcgee, and Mendell Beyonce.
Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
