He is survived by his daughters, Brandi Avant and Candice Avant; his sisters, Rhonda Fowler, Pam Savage, Georgia "Poodle" Brown and Cindy Avant; and his grandchildren, Brooke, Briann, Brooklyn, Braylen, Kaelynn, Kahlen and Jace. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Brazil; his mother, Martha Ann Avant; and his step father, Sonny Avant.
