Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 23, 2005, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for James Donald Brown, 70, who died Thursday, July 21, 2005 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Interment will be in St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann T. Brown of Breaux Bridge; his sons, Laurent Brown and his wife, Hallie of Idaho Falls, ID, Jesse Brown and his wife, Aurelia of Breaux Bridge, and James Brown and his wife, Carolina of Palo Alto, CA; his daughter, Verna Hebert and her husband, David of Breaux Bridge; his brother, Lawson Brown of Shreveport; his sister, Evelyn Miller of Many, LA; eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse James Brown and Mattie Williams Brown; his brothers, Glen and Aubrey Brown; his sisters, Lucille Seward and Charlene Brown; and his grandson, Jacob Hebert. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 12 Noon ~ 10 PM on Friday and continue at 7 AM on Saturday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7 PM Friday evening.
