James Lanny Cox, Sr.

James Lanny Cox, Sr., 67, passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2019, at his home. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. James loved spending time with his family and friends, fishing, and painting. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his daughters, Renee Cortez and husband Todd, Vickie Walker and husband Larry, Cynthia Griffith, and Michelle Cox; sons, James Cox, Jr., and Danny Cox; 4 brothers; and 7 sisters. He was preceded in death by his father, Vernon Cox; mother, Gladys Grace Cunningham; 2 sisters; and 2 brothers. Pellerin Funeral Home Breaux Bridge (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
