James Glen 'Jim' Frey

Lafayette - An informal Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2016, at Covenant United Methodist Church in Lafayette for James Glen "Jim" Frey, 83, who passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2016. All are invited to stop by the church between 2:00pm and 4:00pm to visit with the family members as they celebrate the life of their beloved husband, father, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Mary Jane Edgerton Frey; son, James Frey and his partner, Lee Carrington; daughters, Paula Frey Lindsey and her husband, Ray; and Kellie Frey Kinsland and her husband, Gary; and his three grandchildren, Katherine "Katie" Lindsey, Mikaila Kinsland, and Victoria Kinsland. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Lee and Juanita Pendergraft Frey. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Stanley Hoover, Dr. Sal Malad, Nadia de la Houssaye, and St. Joseph Hospice of Acadiana, especially his nurse, Jamie, for the excellent care given to Jim.
