James 'Jimmy' Ralph Guigneaux

James "Jimmy" Ralph Guigneaux, 75, passed away on Friday, March 2, 2018. A memorial service will be held at a later date. James, better known as "Jimmy", was born in St. Martinville to the late Anthony and Loraine Decuir Guigneaux. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Jimmy was a quiet man who will be remembered for being kind and always willing to help others. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, being outdoors, and going to the shooting range. He had a love for animals and often had a dog at his side. Jimmy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his sister, Geneva Guigneaux Elliott; brother, Johnny Guigneaux; nieces, Yvette Guigneaux, Marlene Elliott, Charlene Elliott Niblett and spouse Randy, and Charmaine Elliott-Seiler and spouse Urs; great nieces, Alexandra, Natalie, and Jessica; and a great nephew, Michael. He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Loraine Decuir Guigneaux; and his brother, Francis Guigneaux. Pellerin Funeral Home - St. Martinville (337-332-2111) is in charge of arrangements.
