James Harold Hudson

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 12 noon, on Saturday, November 24, 2007, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for James Harold Hudson, 74, who passed away on Sunday, November 18, 2007 at St. Agnes Healthcare and Rehab in Breaux Bridge. Interment will follow at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Cemetery, in Duson. Mr. Hudson was a member of the Moose Lodge and a Tribal Member of the Georgia Tribe of Eastern Cherokee. Survivors include six sons, James C. Hudson, of Monroe, Richard Hudson, of Lafayette, Timothy L. Zimmerebner, El Dorado, AR, Jay Hudson, of Sunset, Bryan Hudson, Youngsville, and R. J. Prejean, of Henderson; three daughters, Janet Renee Hogg, of Bastrop, Tony Hudson, and Lydia Hudson, both of Starks; and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Joycedine Leger Hudson; his parents, Harvey and Onie Hudson; one son, Joey Hudson; two brothers, Carliss and H.L. Hudson; and three sisters, Nellie Rose Fenix, Ida Marie Humphries, and Essie Hudson. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Friday and continue at 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Saturday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
