Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 4, 2005, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for James Huval, 71, who died Saturday, April 2, 2005 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Mr. Huval served in the United States Army. ??He was employed by Bell South, AT&T and retired from Lucent Technologies after 40 years of service. ?He was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and the American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Verna Guidry Huval of Breaux Bridge; four sons, Michael Huval and Kathy Stevens of Casper, WY; Anthony Huval and his wife, Sara, Charles Huval, and Jamie Huval and his wife, Nancy, all of Breaux Bridge; his daughter, Marella Trahan and her husband, Tim of Breaux Bridge; his brother, Bernard Huval of Lafayette; thirteen grandchildren and one great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Huval; his grandson, Cain Huval; and his parents, Annie L. and Bernard Huval, Sr.
The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 10 AM - 10 PM on Sunday and continue at 7 AM on Monday until time of service.
A rosary will be recited at 7 PM Sunday evening.
