James Malvin Ledbetter

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 26, 2005, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in St. Martinville for James Malvin Ledbetter, 77, who died Tuesday, August 23, 2005 at his residence in Scott. Entombment will be in St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann Bienvenu Ledbetter of Scott; three sons, Kenneth Ledbetter and his wife, Mary Ann, Dennis Ledbetter and his wife, Angie, all of Baton Rouge, and Stephen Ledbetter of Scott; three brothers, Stacy Ledbetter of Laurel, MS, Jerrell Ledbetter of Cintronelle, AL, and Gilbert Ledbetter of Haynesville, LA; four sisters, Edna McCulley of LaGuana Woods, CA, Maureen Pace of Haynesville, LA, Christeen McDougal of Amarillo, TX and Betty Lou McGowan of Greenville, TX; seven grandchildren, Jessica L. LeJeune, Jimmy, Amanda, Jake and Zachary Ledbetter, and Kenneth, II, and Kyle Ledbetter; and three great grandchildren, Jackson, Cameron, and Brianne LeJeune. He was preceded in death by his parents, David P. and Iris Wilson Ledbetter; and his brother, Clarence David Ledbetter. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 p.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2005 and continue at 9:00 a.m. on Friday until time of service. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
