James Lewis Robb

St. Martinville - A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 24, 2016, at Pellerin Funeral Home in St. Martinville for James Lewis Robb, 85, who passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2016, at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday, and continue on Saturday at 10:30 am until 1:00 pm. Rev. Weldon Moak will officiate at the Funeral Service. A Eulogy will be read by Sheppard Bost. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens in Clarksville, Tennessee. Mr. Robb proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a retired disabled veteran. He was highly active in various organizations including the American Legion, Kiwanis Club, and Military Officer's Association. He was very faithful in his religion and served as a Deacon at First Baptist Church in Broussard. During his free time, Mr. Robb enjoyed wood working and helping out in the community, especially with the organization Keep Louisiana Beautiful. He is survived by his sons, Roiison Kimble Robb and wife Joanna of St. Martinville, and Eric Kyle Robb and wife Barbara of Copperas Cove, TX; daughters, Wanda Alyse Wynn and husband Randy of Cunningham, TN, Kyria Lynn Robb of St. Martinville, and Tanya C. Murray and husband Patrick of Copperas Cove, TX; 9 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; brother, Donald Robb of Turbotville, PA; and sister, Mary Robb Dye and husband Charles of York, PA. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Janis Hayes Robb; parents, Willard T. and Hazel McCarty Robb; and his brother, John Robb.
