James Saintignan

Breaux Bridge - A private memorial services will be held at a later date for James Felton Saintignan, 60, who died Sunday, June 13, 2010 at his residence in Parks. James enjoyed family gatherings, fishing, drinking, smoking and having a good time with his nephews. He will be remembered for his unique sense of humor that always kept the party going. James honorably served our country in two tours in Vietnam and five years of service in the National Guard. Survivors include his faithful partner, Martha Marie Auguillard of Parks; his daughter, Tiffany S. Lajaune and her children, Lacey Henson and Austin Drake Lajaune all of Breaux Bridge; his brother, Nelson Paul Saintignan of Cecilia; his sisters, Debra Robertson Guidry, and Sheila Ann Robertson both of Henderson and Monica Faye Robertson Taha-Alaoui of Mississippi; and his dog, who was a faithful friend, Moe. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Armond White Saintignan; his step father, Howard Robertson; his maternal grandparents, Wilson and Irene Himel. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
