Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., on Tuesday, October 5, 2010, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Arnaudville, for James Harold Taylor, 54, who passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2010, at his residence. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. James honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. James was married to the love of his life, Barbara, for 34 years; together they loved and cherished the many times they could spend with their children and grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Barbara S. Taylor of Arnaudville; two sons, Joshua Taylor and wife, Dawn, of Iota, and Chad Taylor and wife, Kila, of Carencro; one daughter, Tiffany Taylor of Arnaudville; his father and step mother, Harold and Pearl Taylor of Lawtell; one brother, Tony Taylor of New Orleans; three sisters, Josie Zerangue of Arnaudville, Rita Savoie of Cecilia, and Rena Guidroz of Krotz Springs; and five grandchildren, Blake, Cameryn, Tance, Chance, and Thax. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rosa Belle Bergeron Taylor; a brother, Willie Taylor; and a sister, Emmeline Stelly. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 12 noon until 10 p.m. on Monday and continue on Tuesday at 7 a.m. until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Monday.
