Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, February 6, 2006, at First Baptist Church of Breaux Bridge for Jamey "J.T." Weatherly, 27, who died Thursday, February 2, 2006 at St. Martin Hospital in Breaux Bridge. Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. Pastor Rod Jackson of First Baptist Church, where Jamey and Josie attended church will be officiating the services. Jamey was born in Havre, MT, August 16, 1978. He spent most of his adult life in the Breaux Bridge area. He was a jockey at Evangeline Downs Race Track; he had a real love for horses. He enjoyed Sunday Barbecues with his wife and kids, fishing, and golfing. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Josie Stokes Weatherly; his two sons, Blaze Jeremiah Weatherly and Bailey James Weatherly; and his little angel, his daughter, Katherine Clair Weatherly, all of Henderson, LA. His dear mother and step-father, Norma and Lonnie Cleveland of Rosepine, LA; his father and step-mother, James Ed Weatherly and Maureen of Havre, MT. His two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sherry and Tim Snelson of Midland, TX and Kelly and Cliff Harris of Reddick, FL. One brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Amy Cleveland of Woodstock, GA.; and his maternal grandmother, Valdeen Watson of Rosepine, LA. He was preceded in death by his sister, Darla Weatherly Chagnon. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 4:00 p.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2006; 1:00 p.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Sunday; and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Monday until time of service. Pallbearers will be Joe Stokes, Louis Stokes, Cliff Harris, Tim Snelson, Paul Cleveland, and Todd Schmid. Honorary pallbearers will be Trey Auguillard, Ricky Castille, Marlon St. Julien, Casey Fuselier, Mike Talarico, and Dillon Evans. Pellerin Funeral Home, 211 Berard St., Breaux Bridge, LA 70517 is in charge of arrangements.
