New Iberia - A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, August 7, 2021, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Jamie Dauphine Ortuno, 43, who passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021, in New Iberia. Rev. Barry Crochet will officiate. Interment will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Loreauville. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Friday, and continue on Saturday at 8:00 am until 10:00 am. A rosary, led by Deacon Durk Viator, will be prayed at 5:30 pm on Friday.Jamie Dauphine Ortuno was born in New Iberia, LA on March 29, 1978 to Clifton and Sally Laviolette Dauphine, and grew up in Loreauville. She was employed by Lipari Specialties, and enjoyed riding motorcycles with her husband, Rico. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grand babies, and was a great "mama" to a lot of people. She will be deeply missed. Jamie is survived by her husband, George "Rico" Ortuno; a daughter, Destiny Dauphine of New Iberia; her parents, Clifton and Sally Dauphine of Loreauville; two grandchildren, Ella and Jackson Bourque; two sisters, Angela Milliman (Duke) and Denise Boudreaux (Dwayne), both of Loreauville; two brothers, Clifton Dauphine, Jr. of Parks, and Heath Dauphine, Sr. of Loreauville; and her beloved Goldendoodle, Rooster.
