Henderson - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Henderson, for Jane Guidry Hayes, 71, who passed away on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at her residence. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April 1, 2013 until 9.30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Henderson. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Fr. Lawrence Abara , will conduct the services. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Henderson. Jane loved floral arranging, putting together Christmas villages, playing bingo, cooking, dancing and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include her sons, Jerry (Amanda) Hayes of Henderson and Dean (Casie) Hayes of Cecilia; her daughters, Nicky (Daniel) David of Henderson, Sylvia 'Sudie' (Wayne) Flake of Henderson, Cathy Courville of Breaux Bridge and Jacinta 'Cindy' Hayes and her companion, Tammy Bernis of Breaux Bridge; 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Sylvia Latiolais Guidry; and her sisters, Eula Mae Guidry, Nelda Vicknair and Clauda Gaudet. Pallbearers will be Dean Hayes, Jerry Hayes, Jimmy Knott, Daniel David, Corey Courville and Wayne Monte Flake. Honorary pallbearers will be Kirk Hamllet and Christopher Doucet. Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson is in charge of arrangements.
