Janell Bonin Broussard

New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 31, 2018, at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church in New Iberia for Janell Bonin Broussard, 56, who passed away on Sunday, May 27, 2018, in Lafayette. Entombment will follow in the church mausoleum. Rev. Mario Romero will be the Celebrant. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday from 4:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home. A rosary, led by the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, will be prayed at 7:00 pm Wednesday. Visitation will continue on Thursday from 8:00 am until 10:15 am. A native of Loreauville, Mrs. Broussard was born on December 23, 1961 to Leroy and Goldie Thibodeaux Bonin. She was a 1979 graduate of Loreauville High, where she was a member of the Tigerettes. Mrs. Broussard was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, and enjoyed arts and crafts, and spending time with her family and friends. Survivors include her husband Gaston Broussard of New Iberia; daughter, Shelby Elizabeth Broussard of New Iberia; father, Leroy Joseph Bonin of Cade; brother, Johnny Bonin and wife Vicky of New Iberia; sister, Susan Rodriguez and husband Sherman of Loreauville; father-in-law, Martin Lee Broussard of St. Martinville, mother-in-law, Jeanette Francis Broussard of St. Martinville.
