Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am, on Thursday, July 18, 2013, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Janella Duplechein Latiolais, 70, who passed away on Monday, July 15, 2013. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home in Cecilia from 10:00 am until 9:00 pm on Wednesday, and continue at 7:00 am until 10:30 am on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm on Wednesday. Rev. Allen Breaux will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Scriptures will be read by Gail Pontiff and Cynthia Latiolais. Gift Bearers will be Madison and Myah Richard. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Mrs. Latiolais was a faithful parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia. She was an avid reader and enjoyed shopping. She is survived by her mother, Zilda A. Duplechein; two sons, Craig Latiolais and wife, Brenda, and Antoine "Tanny" Latiolais, Jr. and wife, Karen Guidry; her daughter, Joy Lormand and husband, Kim; her brother, Errol Duplechein and wife, Elaine; three sisters, Judy Hebert and husband Kerney, Sue Buchanan, and Gloria Bezette and husband, Randall; her grandchildren, Kayla Richard and husband, Brooke, Cody Lormand, and Derek Latiolais and wife, Cherie; her step grandchildren, Caitlin Guidry, Alexis Robin and husband, Sedaka, Sr., and Dylan Knott; her great grandchildren, Madison and Myah Richard; and step great grandchildren, Bailey Kidder, Sedaka Robin, Jr., and Zayne Robin. She is preceded in death by her husband, Antoine Latiolais, Sr.; and her father, Laurette Duplechein. Pallbearers will be Tanny Latiolais, Cody Lormand, Kim Lormand, Brooke Richard, Derek Latiolais, and Jacob Lavergne. Honorary pallbearer will be Craig Latiolais.
