Coteau - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, August 5, 2017, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Coteau for Jarod Michael Boudreaux, 31, who passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. A rosary, led by the Men's Rosary Group, will be prayed at 7:00 pm Friday. Visitation will continue Saturday from 8:00 am until 10:30 am. A resident of Coteau, Jarod was born on July 17, 1986 to Michelle Armentor and Gwen Dale Boudreaux. He attended Westgate High School and worked as a machinist for Machine Tech. Jarod loved horses, motorcycles, and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his mother, Michelle Armentor of Coteau; father, Gwen Dale Boudreaux of New Iberia; grandparents, Elsie Breaux Armentor of Coteau, Lillian Boutte Boudreaux of New Iberia, Gerald Boudreaux of New Iberia; brother, Nicholas Dale Boudreaux of New Iberia; half brothers, Michael Joseph Patton of Decatur, Texas, Breyn Boudreaux and wife Valery Alfano Boudreaux of Ft. Campbell, Kentucky, Dylan Boudreaux and wife Ashlen Bourque Boudreaux of New Iberia; significant other, Heather Bourque Arcement of Coteau; and Caytlyn Crochet Boudreaux, and Xander Arcement both of New Iberia, who were like his children; godchild, Ariel Leverett; nieces, Alexis Leverett and Brooke Leverett. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Sim A. Armentor. Pallbearers will be Nicholas Boudreaux, Breyn Boudreaux, Dylan Boudreaux, Gwen Dale Boudreaux, Keith Armentor, Keith P. Armentor, and Michael Patton. Honorary pallbearers include Dakuiry Palmisano, Cody Ray Dupuis, Dusty Frederick, and Drew Blanchard.
