Jarrod Dru Hudson

New Iberia - A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Nativity of Our Lady Catholic Church in New Iberia for Jarrod Dru Hudson, 46, who passed away on Monday, March 7, 2022.

Entombment will follow in the church mausoleum.

Rev. Ed Degeyter will be the Celebrant.

Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday from 8:30 am until 10:00 am.

A graduate of New Iberia Senior High, Jarrod was born on July 12, 1975 in Abbeville, to the late Harvey David and Patricia Guidry Hudson. He worked has a machinist and his hobbies included fishing, cooking, and gaming. Jarrod loved his family, friends and his dogs deeply.

Survivors include his sister, Tracey Barras (Lee) of New Iberia; brothers, Christopher Hudson (Meika) of Broussard and Michael Pitre (Susan) of Phoenix, Arizona; Evan Bourque of New Iberia who was like a son to him; nieces and nephews, Jesse Hudson, Ashlynn Hudson, Conner Hudson, Molly Barras, and Macy Barras; grandfather, Donald Hudson.

He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey David Hudson; mother, Patricia Ann Pitre; step father who raised him, Michael Pitre; and his grandparents, Pheo Guidry, Effie Desormeaux Guidry, and Ann Hudson.
