Jason Paul Stockstill

New Iberia - Jason Paul Stockstill, age 53, has passed away in Jackson, MS where he resided the past several years.  He died of natural causes on Thursday April 18, 2024

Jason was born and raised in New Iberia and graduated from New Iberia Senior High School in 1991. Jason was an active person who was an accomplished baseball player and skateboarder as a teenager, and as an adult he enjoyed running and especially working out. He had a huge heart and lived life on his own terms blazing his own path. Jason was known for his magnetic personality and ability to talk to anyone. Jason worked in construction over the years performing tasks like painting, hanging sheetrock, and demolition.
     

Jason was preceded in death by John and Jane Stockstill (grandparents), Chong Anders (mother), and Brian Stockstill (cousin).  

Jason is survived by his father, Glenn Stockstill (wife Paulette), his brother, Kevin Stockstill (wife Jenney and sons Jackson, Maddux, Abbott, and Leyton), his half-brother and half-sister (Justin and Deborah), his daughter, Morgan Berard (husband Dustin and children Kai and Vivian), and his uncle, Donald Stockstill (wife Paula and children Kim, Mitzi, and Sean and their families.
     

Memorial services will be at 12 noon, on Saturday May 25, 2024, at Pellerin Funeral Home. Entombment will be at a later date.

Visitation will be Saturday, from 10:00 am until 12 noon at Pellerin Funeral Home.
