New Iberia A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 pm, on Monday, September 1, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia, for Jason Patrick Tabb, 45, who passed away on Saturday, August 30, 2014. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:00 am until 8:00 pm on Monday, September 1, 2014, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia. Ministers Glenn and Jeanette Perret will officiate at the Memorial Service. The readers will be Miriah Laviolette and Kelly Sorrel. Jason was a commercial fisherman who enjoyed fishing, shrimping, and crabbing. He enjoyed cooking and would make sure he always had the best seafood on the table. He is survived by his mother, Judith Darcey Tabb of Lydia; his wife, Chynna LeBlanc of Lydia; four sons, Cainn LeBlanc and Caleb LeBlanc, both of Lydia, Dillion Tabb of New Iberia, and Joshua Raved of Arkansas; and four grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his son, Justin Schaubert; his father, Wilson Tabb; his brother, Randall "Frog" Tabb; and three sisters, Joy Lynn Tabb, Pauline Tabb Derise, and Cathy Tabb Addie.
