Jean Nel Hardy Breaux

Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Saturday, August 30, 2008, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge, for Jean Nel Hardy Breaux, 61, who passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at University Medical Center in Lafayette. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 1 in Breaux Bridge. Fr. Allen Breaux, Associate Pastor of St. Bernard Church, will conduct the funeral service. Mrs. Breaux was a member of the Cajun French Music Association in Lafayette. She enjoyed playing with her Pokeno groups, camping and being outdoors. Survivors include her loving husband of 44 years, Don Breaux, of Breaux Bridge; three sons, Daniel Breaux, of Breaux Bridge, Mathew Breaux and wife, Sara, of Butte LaRose, Jonathon Breaux and wife, Beverly, of Perry, GA; three daughters, Deanna Breaux, Amber Breaux, and Lauren Breaux Miller and husband, Duane, all of Breaux Bridge; her mother, Audrey T. Hardy, of Arnaudville; three brothers, Dave John Hardy, Reggie Hardy, both of Breaux Bridge, and Allen Speight, of Spring, TX; four sisters, Renella Berard, Marelle Huval, Debbie Bernard, all of Breaux Bridge, and Patsy Blevins, of Whitetop, VA; 19 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her father, John Hardy. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10 a.m. on Friday and continue until 9:30 a.m. on Saturday. A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. on Friday evening. Pallbearers will be Damian Courville, Dale Breaux, Louis Anlsem, Shawn Hardy, Dave Hardy, Allen Speight, Dax Bernard, and Nicholas Potier. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
