Jean Laviolette Keddy

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, February 4 , 2006, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville for Jean Laviolette Keddy, 62, who died Wednesday, February 1, 2006 at her residence in Lafayette. Entombment will be in St. Michael Mausoleum in St. Martinville. Ms. Keddy was retired from Bell South after 38 years of service. Survivors include her son, John David Keddy and his wife, Gina of Spring, TX; her daughter, Lisa Ann Keddy, and her companion, Darrell Duplechin of Eunice; her brothers, Ronnie Laviolette of Breaux Bridge, Roland Laviolette of FL, Randy Laviolette and Curtis Laviolette, both of Lafayette; and three grandchildren, Chase Paul Duplechin, Jacob John Keddy and Brittany Nichol Keddy. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeanne and Percy Laviolette. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 10:00 a.m. ~ 10:00 p.m. on Friday and continue at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Pallbearers will be Darrell Duplechin, Herman Venable, Ronnie Laviolette, Wayne Hornsby, Harold ""T-Sue"" Hulin, and Brian Vincent. Honorary pallbearers will be Chase Duplechin and Jacob Keddy. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
