Jeanette Marie Vincent

St. Martinville - Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 23, 2009, at Notre Dame Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Jeanette Marie Vincent, 71, who passed away on Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at her residence. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. Father Justin Arockiasamy, SVD, will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Kayla Thomas and Christina Hunnicutt. Jeanette was a parishioner of Notre Dame Catholic Church. She enjoyed dancing, listening to music, traveling, cooking and taking care of her pets. She was member of the Humane Society. Survivors include her long life friend and companion for 40 years, Wes Reeves, of St. Martinville; one daughter, Debbie Thomas and her husband, Danny, of Parks two sons, Allen Boudreaux, Jr. and his wife, Linda, of New Iberia and Mark Boudreaux and his wife, Amy, of St. Martinville; one brother, Albert Vincent, Jr. of New Iberia; six grandchildren, Kimberly and Kayla Thomas, Kacie Hedge, Christina Hunnicutt, Angela Boudreaux, and Brittany Boudreaux; five great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert Vincent, Sr. and Inez Guillotte Vincent; maternal grandparents, O'Neal and Emily Guillotte; paternal grandparents, Joseph and Emilda Vincent; and an infant son. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 3 p.m. until 10 p.m. on Wednesday and continue at 7 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. on Thursday morning. Pallbearers will be Danny Thomas, Walter Theriot, Marcel Theriot, Jr., Lewis Hebert, Sr., Jonathan Voison, and Scott Hunnicutt. Honorary pallbearers will be Allen Boudreaux, Mark Boudreaux, Wes Reeves, and Will Hedge. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff of Hospice of Acadiana and Oncologics, Inc. and everyone else who helped in her care, especially Mr. Wes Reeves. Pellerin Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
