New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Tuesday, June 10, 2008, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, in New Iberia for Jeanette H. ""The Shrimp Lady"" Vincent, 73, who died Saturday, June 7, 2008 in New Iberia. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery. Rev. Mark Derise will be the Celebrant. Readers will be Jenna LeLeux and Kayla Courville. Gift Bearers include Simmi Schaubert, Heather Romero, and Kayla Courville. A native and lifelong resident of New Iberia resident, Mrs. Vincent was known as the ""Shrimp Lady"", having sold shrimp along with her husband on Bank Street. She enjoyed crocheting and listening to Elvis music. Survivors include her husband, Russel Vincent of New Iberia; daughter, Ronda Schaubert and husband Ralph Schaubert, Jr., Pamela LeLeux and husband Daryl, Debra S. Vincent, Marcelette N. Courville and husband Terry all of New Iberia; sons, Roland Vincent and wife Cheryl, Robert J. Vincent all of New Iberia, sister, Gernis Lopez of Jeanerette; grandchildren, Trinity LeLeux, Jenna LeLeux, Kayla Courville, Heather Romero, Nicholas Romero, Derek Romero, Luccia Schaubert, Caesar Schaubert, Simmi Schaubert, Jeanine Vincent, Brittany Courville; great grandchildren, Jimmy, Jr., Kendal, Joria, Karma, Lloyd, Micah and McKenzie. She was preceded in death by her parents, Aristle and Marcelette Broussard Hebert; a son, David Vincent; sisters, Shirley Halphen, Margaret Hebert; brothers, Mutt Hebert, Mickey Hebert, Lulu Hebert, Lori Hebert, and Baco Hebert. Pallbearers include Trinity LeLeux, Daryl LeLeux, Roland Vincent, Nicholas Romero, Ralph Schaubert, Jr., Caesar Schaubert, J.C. Bourque, and Nick Boutte. Honorary pallbearer will be Bobby Delcambre. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday, from 4:30 PM until 9:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. A rosary will be prayed at 7:00 PM Monday.
