Jeanita Pitte Domonter

Breaux Bridge- A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Jeanita Pitte Domonter, 74, who passed away on September 11, 2023 at Our Lady of Lourdes. 

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Tuesday from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM.

A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 AM on Tuesday. 

Rev. Joe Campion will officiate at the funeral mass. 

Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery. 

She is survived by her husband of 53 years, Joseph Domonter; son, Kendrick Garrett; grandchildren, Collins Boudreaux, Shukuara Charles, Tahjanaye Charles, and Madison Garrett; great-grandchildren, Kassidy, Maddox and Kynlee; brothers, Manuel (Rosa) Pitte and Leo (Laura) Pitte; and her sisters, Rita (Melvin) LeBlanc, Barbara (Mitch) Blair, and Shelia Landry. 

She is preceded in death by her son, Donovan Garrett; parents, Alton and Beulah Calais Pitte; mother-in-law, Eva Domonter; and her brother, Joseph Alton Pitte. 

Pallbearers will be Christopher LeBlanc, Leadrid Pitte, Bradford Landry, Fredrick Domonter, Coddie Noel, and Arlington Pitte.
