Breaux Bridge - Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Saturday, February 27, 2010, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge, for Jeanne Breaux Broussard, 98, who passed away on Thursday, February 25, 2010 at St. Martin Hosptial.
Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Fr. Louis Allen Breaux, will conduct the services.
Mrs. Broussard was very devoted to her religion and prayed the rosary daily.
Survivors include her daughter, Jean Ketelers and her husband, R.L., of Breaux Bridge; her sisters, Carmen Breaux Girouard, of Rayne, Anita Trahan and her husband, Calvin, and Agnes Begnaud and her husband, Wayne, all of Breaux Bridge; three grandchildren, Rod Ketelers and his wife, Mary, Stewart Ketelers, Sr. and his wife, Sue, and Rhonda K. Courville and her husband, Colonel Shane Courville; eight grandchildren, Lauren Fournier and her husband, Corey, Lana Henson and her husband, Bobby, Grant Ketelers, Gabrielle Ketelers, Stewart Ketelers, Jr., Kristin Ketelers, Jace Courville, and Nicole Courville; and one great-great grandchild, Travis Ketelers, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Percy Broussard; her parents, John and Ida Patin Breaux; one brother, Clarence Breaux; one sister, Hazel Stockman and her step-mother, Lydia Breaux.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 8:30 a.m. until time of service on Saturday.
A rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Pallbearers will be Rod Ketelers, Stewart Ketelers, Stewart Ketelers, Jr., Jace Courville, Grant Ketelers and Colonel Shane Courville.
The family would like to extend a special Thank you to her caregiver, Roxanne Gautreaux, Dr. Warren Degeyter, Karen McFaul and the staff of St. Martin Hospital and Hospice of Acadiana.
