Jeanne Derouen

New Iberia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, on Thursday, September 13, 2007, at St. Marcellus Catholic Church in Rynella, for Jeanne Derouen, 93, who died on Tuesday, September 11, 2007, in a New Iberia hospital. Interment will follow in Holy Family Cemetery.. Rev. Donovan Labbe will be the Celebrant. Born on February 27, 1914 in Iberia Parish, Mrs. Derouen is the daughter of Clovis Hebert, Sr. and Edolie Robicheaux Hebert. She enjoyed praying the Rosary and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughters, Mona Badeaux and husband Lonny of New Iberia, Shirley Kelley and husband Chuck of New Iberia; brother, Clovis Hebert, Jr. of New Iberia; 12 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wilton ""Tee-Wit"" Derouen; son, Dudley Joseph Derouen; great grandson, Brock Delcambre; 5 brothers, Joe, Clomare, Fulton, Deluke, and Nelson; 4 sisters, Rynella, Rose, Lilly, and Louise. A gathering of family and friends will be Wednesday, from 4:30 PM until 10:00 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, ?in New Iberia. A rosary will be Wednesday at 7:00 PM. Visitation will continue Thursday from 8:00 AM until time of service. Honored to serve as pallbearers will be her grandsons, Lenny Delcambre, Ricky Delcambre, Rusty Delcambre, Nathan Derouen, Kerry Derouen, and Lon Badeaux.
