Breaux Bridge - A memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM, Saturday, July 16, 2005, at St. Bernard Catholic Church in Breaux Bridge for Jeanne Ren?e Patin , 56, who died Tuesday, July 12, 2005 at her residence in Breaux Bridge.
Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge.
Ren?e was a dedicated teacher and administrator at Remington College. ?She was an active member of St. Bernard School Alumni Association and the Ladies Auxiliary of the V.F.W.
Ren?e graduated from St. Bernard High School, attended McNeese University and became a member and was past president of the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. ?She later earned a B.A. Degree from U.S.L.
Ren?e was a dedicated fan of the U.L. Girls Softball team and the U.L. Boys Basketball and Football programs.
Survivors include her mother, Agnes Jeanne Calais Patin of Breaux Bridge; her special companions, Cassie and Davy, her beloved pets; her brothers, Thomas Frederick ""Ricky"" Patin, Jr., Charles Whitley ""Whit"" Patin and his wife, Brenda; Keith Anthony ""Tony"" Patin and his wife, Suzy; and William Lewis ""Billy"" Patin and his wife, Dana, all of Breaux Bridge; her sisters, Marie A. Patin Trahan, and her husband, Neal of Roanoke, LA, and Cecile A. Patin Guidry and her husband, Raymond of Breaux Bridge; seven nieces; four nephews, and four great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas F. Patin, Sr.; and an infant brother, John Patin.
A gathering of remembrance will be observed from 8 AM on Saturday at Pellerin Funeral Home and will continue until time of service.
A rosary will be recited at 10:00 AM on Saturday morning.
