Jeannine Eddy Serrette

Henderson - Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 20, 2008, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel, in Henderson, for Jeannine Eddy Serrette, 37, who died on Monday, March 17, 2008. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in Henderson. Rev. Fr. Chanh Nguyen, pastor of Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church, will conduct the funeral service. Survivors include her husband, Kent Serrette, of Henderson; her daughter, Kaylee Serrette, of Henderson; her parents, Jeanette and Darrell Eddy, Sr., of Henderson; and two brothers, Darrell Eddy, Jr., of Parks, and Shane Eddy, of Breaux Bridge. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Morris and Ann Hergruder; and her paternal grandparents, Dewey and Mable Eddy. The family requested that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10 a.m. on Wednesday and continue until 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 PM on Wednesday. Pallbearers will be Darrell Eddy, Jr., Shane Eddy, Jon Ross, Troy Seaux, Kim Serrette, and Glenn Skates. Pellerin Funeral Home of Henderson is in charge of arrangements.
