Jeffery "J" Williams

Breaux Bridge - A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM, Friday, May 3, 2024, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church for Jeffery "J" Williams, 86, who passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024, at The Calcutta House of St. Joseph Hospice. 

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Friday, May 3rd from 7:00 AM to 10:15 AM.

A rosary will be prayed at 9:00 AM on Friday. 

Interment will follow at St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery. 

Jeffery was born on May 3, 1937, in Breaux Bridge.  "J" enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, and watching horse races.

He is survived by his children, Christine (Telly) Edmond, Mary Margaret Noel, Kenneth Williams, Barbara Williams, Marie (Louis) Matthews, Joe Williams, Peggy (Chris) James, Clinton Edmond, Henry Williams, Edward Edmond, Jeffery Edmond, Brian Edmond, Darrell Martinez, Lisa Smith, Nancy Martinez, Patsy Martinez, Shirley Martinez, and Judy Martinez; siblings, Andrea (Lou) Williams, Harold (Theresa) Williams, Loreta Batiste and Delta Williams; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Eva Ledet Williams; children, Howard Williams, Patrick Edmond, Ricky Williams, Brenda Williams, Roderick Martinez, Shelton Williams and Patricia Williams; sisters, Doris, Dorothy, and Mable; grandson, Miguel Edmond; and his wife, Mary Elaine Edmond.

Pallbearers will be Larry Williams, Anthony Williams, Teddius Mathews, Dorel Edmond, Christopher Hayes, and Dominque Martinez.
