Jeffrey Joseph Touchet

Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, January 27, 2017, at Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge for Jeffrey Joseph Touchet, 69, who passed away on Tuesday, January 24, 2017. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 9:30 am until 9:00 pm on Thursday, and continue on Friday at 8:00 am until 11:00 am. Pastor Joe Jenkins will lead a Prayer Service at 5:00 pm and a rosary will be prayed at 7 pm on Thursday evening. Rev. Donovan Labbe will officiate at the Funeral Service. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery No. 2 in Breaux Bridge. For many years, Jeffrey was self-employed as a carpenter. He was an avid hunter, woodworker, and bowyer, whose most enjoyable hobbies included hand-crafting long bows and archery. Jeffrey was a member of the Bayou State Bowhunter's Association. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Faust Touchet; daughter, Holly Touchet and Arthur Broussard (boyfriend); step sons, Robert Hoke, Thomas Hoke and Debbie (wife), David Hoke and Cindy (wife); step daughters, Loretta Hoke, Lisa Michelle Hoke, Kimbery Hoke LeBlanc and Adam (husband); sister, Rhena Touchet Melancon; brothers, Darrell Touchet and Judy (wife), Jessie Touchet and Bonnie (wife); grandchildren, Dillan, Devin, and Delaney Choplin, Chloe, Gabriel, and Phoebe Hoke, Savannah Hoke Andrews, Johnny Ray and Jonah Hoke, Robin, Jordan, and Logan Hoke, Maryann, Courtney, Isaac and Brittney Sala, Michael Scott Walters, Aubrey and Alec LeBlanc, Sadie and Michael Hoke; great grandchildren, Brooklyn and Addlynn Choplin, Karsynn Hoke, Grace and Noah Andrews, and Evianna Saldona. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph and Zadia Maturin Touchet; sisters, Yvonne Touchet Fredericks and Elizabeth Touchet; and step sons, Michael Hoke and Johnny Hoke. Pallbearers will be Thomas Hoke, David Hoke, Alec LeBlanc, Jordan Hoke, Logan Hoke, and Devin Choplin. Honorary pallbearers will be Dillan Choplin, Michael Scott Walters, and Michael Hoke.
