Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Saturday, June 29, 2019, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Cecilia for Jenette Turner, 60, who passed away on Tuesday, June 18, 2019. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 7:00 am until 10:00 am on Saturday Rev. Gregory Cormier will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Interment will follow at St. Rose of Lima Cemetery. Jenette was a lovable person who enjoyed cooking, baking, and visiting with her family and friends. She always made sure her family had what they needed to survive and were given enough love to carry them through their lives. She is survived by her mother, Effie Turner of Gillett, AR; companion, Louis Boyd of Breaux Bridge; sons, Leonard Boyd and wife Kim of Lafayette, IN, Lance Turner and wife Shaylin of Henderson, Jacoby Turner and wife Adrienne of Breaux Bridge, and Louis Boyd, Jr. of Breaux Bridge; daughter, Jenitta Boyd of Breaux Bridge; brothers, Moses Turner of Dewitt, AR, Roy Lee Turner of Dewitt, AR, Jimmy Turner of Little Rock, AR, and Larry Turner and wife Jewell of Little Rock, AR; sisters, Aline Turner of Dewitt, AR, Sue Ann Brown and husband Mitchell of Gillett, AR, Louise Turner of Gillett, AR, Darlene Turner of Gillett, AR, and Gloria Hoard and husband Samuel of Little Rock, AR; and her grandchildren, Demitra Boyd, Tyreke Boyd, Maleke Boyd, Astin Boyd, Jordan Alexander, Trevan Turner, Savanah Turner. She was preceded in death by her father, Leroy Turner; and a daughter, Christine McClinia.
