Jennifer Gayle Abshire

Arnaudville - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Sunday, January 3, 2010, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Arnaudville, for Jennifer Gayle Abshire, 26, who passed away on Thursday, December 31, 2009 at her residence in Lafayette. Interment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Cemetery in Arnaudville. Survivors include her father, Patrick James Abshire of Forked Island; her mother, Gail Marie Mouton of Lafayette; her maternal grandfather, Lester Hardy of Arnaudville; her paternal grandparents, John O. and May Rose Abshire of Forked Island; her sons, Jacobey and Broderick; her daughters, Annalyse, Felicity and Eternaty; her Brother, Morgan Abshire of Arnaudville and her sister, Angelique Boudreaux and husband Jason of Arnaudville. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Anna Belle Hardy; her paternal great grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Eudor Abshire, Mr. Clement Fontenot and Elizabeth Dartez; and one cousin, Lerin Abshire. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from10:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. on Saturday and continue at 8:00 a.m. until time of service on Sunday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Family wishes to express a special thank you to Tammie & Terry Murakami and Jennifer Hanson, who have become extended family for their loving care of Jennifer. We also wish to thank Donna Vidrine with Hospice of Acadiana for her care of Jennifer. In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests donations be made to defray funeral expenses.
