Jennifer Lynn Butler, beloved daughter of Tom and Rossukon Ornsri Butler, graced this planet with her presence on November 15, 1980. We lost her on September 15, 2013. In her life, our Jennifer was many things to many people. She learned to walk (stick walk) by straddling her grandfathers crutches when he was recovering from knee surgery. She was an achiever from her earliest days in school and was the adored and treasured apple of her grandmother and three aunts eyes. She was and is her brothers best friend. She and her sister, both spectacularly beautiful women, hushed conversation and turned heads whenever they entered a room together. She will always be remembered as kind, loving, gentle and wanting to help anyone who was hurting or needy someone whose physical presence of beauty was outshone by her inner core of substance and genuine compassion and devotion to those around her.
Jennifer proudly completed her Bachelors Degree in Design and Marketing from the University of North Texas at Denton. She was a gifted and talented artist who worked professionally at Lady Primrose in Product Development where she was warmly accepted and passionate about her new career challenges and opportunities. She spoke fondly of her professional family and the world that was opening up to her through her employment with them. Jennifer loved to travel and had many experiences that took her world-wide. Born in Singapore, by the time Jennifer was five years old, she had been around the world 3 times!
Jennifer was preceded in death by her loving grandparents, Patricia Anne and Leslie T. Butler, Sr. and her aunt Nancy Price, all of Tyler, Texas and her grandmother, Kiron Tirluksa of Khorat, Thailand.
Our Jennifer is survived by and deeply grieved for by her parents, Tom & Rossukon Ornsri Butler of St. Martinville, LA, her sister & brother-in-law, Rebecca & Jim Guinan of Dallas, Texas, her brother and sister-in-law, St. Martins Parish Sheriffs Deputy Tom and Britney Butler of Lafayette, LA, her aunts, Jup- Nappawan Smithinan and Jeab Sunida Smithinan of Bangkok, Thailand, her uncle and aunt, Bom Palradon Ornsri and Oiy Sunata Ornsri of Khorat, Thailand, her aunt, Deborah Butler of Fort Worth, Texas, her chosen aunt & uncle, Janet & Mark Kres of Austin, Texas, many cousins, colleagues and friends, along with Shiner, her beloved dachshund and Simon, her aunts cat who literally swoons in her presence.
Sleep well and peacefully, beloved and precious girl. We were parted too soon and we hold you in our dreams and our hearts forever.
