Jennings Thibodeaux

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 11 a .m. on Friday, December 3, 2010 , at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Jennings Pierre Thibodeaux, 80, who passed away on December 1, 2010 at his residence. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia.. Mr. Thibodeaux is a veteran of the Army having served during WWII and the Korean War. He enjoyed gardening, camping and spending time with his family and friends. He retired from Ralphs Electronics after 35 years of service. Survivors include his companion of 25 years Lee Etta Thibodeaux; his brother, Henry Thibodeaux and his wife, Diane of Breaux Bridge; his sister, Thelma Melancon of Lafayette and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Abel and Loretta Guidry Thibodeaux, his brother, Lawrence Thibodeaux, his sister, Sharlene Huval, his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leopol Guidry and his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Laurent Thibodeaux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday and continue at 7:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m on Friday. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. Thursday.
