Jenny Latiolais Courville

Catahoula - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 22, 2006, at St. Rita Catholic Church in Catahoula for Jenny L. Courville, 59, who died Saturday, August 19, 2006 at her residence in Catahoula. Interment will be in Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery in Catahoula. Fr. Donald Pelous, pastor of St. Rita Catholic Church will conduct the services. She loved being with her family along with placing others before herself. Mrs. Courville was a beautiful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, daughter, and friend. She was a blessing to all and will be greatly missed. She will always be loved by others for her compassion and generosity. Survivors include Calvin James Courville of Catahoula; her father, Gilbert Latiolais of Catahoula; her sons, Travis J. Courville and wife Danielle L. of Catahoula, Jason Courville and wife Tricia T. of St. Martinville; daughters, Melanie C. Albert and husband Leland, Denise C. Vicknair both of Catahoula, Mindi C. Courville and husband Brad of New Iberia; one brother, Andy P. Latiolais of Breaux Bridge; two sisters, Debbie L. Broussard and Gail L. Champagne both of St. Martinville; and seven grandchildren. Mrs. Courville was preceded in death by her mother, Juanita Theriot Latiolais. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 11AM, Monday, August 21, 2006 and continue until time of service at Dion Church Hall in Catahoula. A rosary will be recited at 7 PM, Monday. Pallbearers will be Tracy Barras, Travis Courville, Jason Courville, Leland Albert, Brad Courville, and Andy Latiolais. Honorary pallbearers will be Calvin Courville, Beau Courville, Tate Courville, and Treylin Albert. Pellerin Funeral Home, 337.332.2111, is in charge of arrangements.
