New Iberia - Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 for Jeremy James Broussard, 22, who passed away on Thursday, November 26, 2020, in Lafayette.
Entombment will be at a later date.
Rev. Keith Landry will officiate.
A gathering of family and friends will be from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm Tuesday at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia.
A rosary, led by the Men's Rosary Group, will be prayed at 11:00 am Tuesday.
A native of New Iberia, Jeremy was born on November 17, 1998, and worked as an Uber driver while attending barber school. He was a practical joker and grew beautiful plants. Some of Jeremy's hobbies included traveling, photography, drawing/painting, eating (pizza was his favorite food!), and hanging out with his friends. He was an animal lover, and his rescue dog, Silas had a special place in his heart. Jeremy will be deeply missed.
He is survived by his mother, Annette Landry (husband Jason) Jackson of New Iberia; father, Bryan Broussard of New Iberia; three sisters, Brandi Broussard and Mackenzie Frederick, both of New Iberia, and Nicole Broussard of Youngsville; paternal grandmother, Patricia (husband John) Underwood of Lafayette; maternal grandfather, Gary Guilbeau of St. Martinville; uncles, Billy Landry, Jr. of New Iberia, Ian Broussard of Loreauville; aunts, Mary (husband Sam) Corzine of Loreauville, and Rhonda (husband Tracy) Cuccio of New Iberia; and his best friend, Kaitlyn Bryant.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Larry Broussard; maternal grandmother, Beatrice Guilbeau; maternal grandfather, Billy Landry, Sr.; and an uncle, Barry Landry.
