Jerry Joseph Blanchard

St. Martinville- Jerry Joseph Blanchard, 82, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018. The family has planned a private interment at Saint Michael's Catholic Cemetery in St. Martinville. There will be a memorial gathering at the home of his sister, Sherry Guillot, 3309 Coteau Holmes Rd, St. Martinville, LA 70582, on Saturday, June 2, 2018 in the afternoon. Our family is extremely grateful for the outpouring of love, sympathy and support in our time of sorrow. All of your thoughts and prayers for Jerry Blanchard and our family are sincerely appreciated. He is survived by his loving wife, Lorice Baudoin Blanchard of Houston, TX; sons, Charles Joseph Blanchard, Eric Vincent Blanchard, and Bryan Martin Blanchard, all of Houston, TX; his brother, Larry Jude Blanchard and wife Gail Albert Blanchard of St. Martinville; and sister, Sherry Guillot and husband Alfred of Loreauville. Mr. Blanchard was born on December 14, 1935 to Vincent Joseph Blanchard and Mozella B. Blanchard. Jerry was a professional electrical engineer in the oil and gas industry prior to his retirement. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, Gary Joseph Blanchard.
