Jerry L. Lowrey

New Iberia - Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, June 27, 2020, at Antioch Cemetery, Quitman in for Jerry L. Lowrey, 69, who passed away on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, in New Iberia. A gathering of family and friends will be Friday from 4:30 pm until 8:00 pm at Pellerin Funeral Home. A resident of Iberia Parish for over 40 years, Mr. Lowrey was born on October 22, 1950 to the late Revis Clyde Lowrey and Sybil Hortence Lowrey. He proudly served our country in the U. S. Air Force and was a retired consultant having worked in the oilfield for many years. He enjoyed working around his house, fishing, reading, and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Survivors include his wife, Mecca Tobar Lowrey; daughter, Dawn Lowrey-Meydam and husband Smith of Newport News, VA; stepsons, Troy Fondon, Keith Fondon; stepdaughter, Renee Fondon; brothers, Jimmy Lowrey and wife Gwen of Quitman, Ricky Lowrey and wife Cathy of Quitman, Clyde Lowrey, Jr. and wife Bebe of Winnfield; 3 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
