Breaux Bridge - A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 13, 2006, at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in Breaux Bridge for Jerry Raymond Michel, 75, who died Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette. Mr. Michel loved the outdoors and traveling. Survivors include his wife, Shirley LaPorte Michel of Breaux Bridge; his son, Dana Michel of Austin, TX; his daughters, Kathleen Michel of Florissant, CO, Erin Durio and her husband, David, of Parks, Robin Robertson of Parks, and Linda Canady and her husband, Jim of Austin, TX; his sister, Dixie Rice of Culbertson, NE; eleven grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Evelyn Stutzman Michel; his brother, Jimmy Michel; and his sister, Shirley Musil. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 2:00 p.m. on Saturday until time of service.. Pellerin Funeral Home of Breaux Bridge is in charge of arrangements.
