Brusly - Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 pm on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia for Jessie Joseph Bouillion, 50, who passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018, at a Baton Rouge hospital.
A gathering of family and friends will be at Pellerin Funeral Home in New Iberia from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Monday, and will continue on Tuesday from 8:00 am until 12:00 pm.
A rosary, led by Deacon Durk Viator, will be prayed at 6:00 pm on Monday.
Rev. Ed Degeyter will be will be the Officiant.
Interment will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in New Iberia.
A resident of Brusly, Louisiana, Jessie Joseph Bouillion was born in New Iberia, Louisiana on May 31, 1967 to the late Preston and Marie Louviere Bouillion. Jessie worked as a truck driver for Cain's Pipeline in Addis. He loved fishing, camping, and listening to Oldies on the weekend, but what he cherished most was time spent with family.
He is survived by his loving wife, Alice Maturin Bouillion of Brusly; daughters, Anna Bouillion of New Iberia, and Kristina Bouillion of Brusly; step-sons, Russell Marceaux of New Iberia, and Elvis Mestayer, Jr. and wife Susan of New Iberia; brother, Lonnie Bouillion of Rhode Island; grandchildren, Trey Marceaux, Katelyn Marceaux, Davin Daigle, Emily Marceaux, Alison Bouillion, Jonramon Vaughns, Jr., Aliyah Bouillion, and Adair; and step-grandchildren, Bethany and Dray Rodrigue.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and an infant grandson, Baby Russell.
Pallbearers will be Russell Marceaux, Elvis Mestayer, Jr., Trey Marceaux, Frank Anderson, Jerry Lewis, and Travon Blanchard.
Honorary pallbearer is Steven Roberts.
As Jessie was not a fan of flowers, the family is requesting donations in lieu of flowers.
