Cecilia - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 2:00 pm, on Thursday, July 2, 2015, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Jimmie P. Guilbeau, Sr., 69, who passed away on Tuesday, June 30, 2015. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 8:30 am until 1:45 pm on Thursday. Rev. Dustin Dought will officiate at the Funeral Mass. Readers will be Alexis Magee and Hunter Osborn. Gift Bearers will be Courtney Hebert and Lacy Patin. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Cecilia. Jimmie loved to plant his garden, dancing, and enjoyed family gatherings. He loved to cook and was a good one at that. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew him. He is survived by his daughters, Melissa Arceneaux and Michelle Guilbeau; his son, Jimmie Guilbeau, Jr. and wife Shelly; his brother, John L. Guilbeau, Jr.; his sisters, Katie Hebert and Lisa Hebert; his grandchildren, Alexis Magee and husband, Adam, Lacy Patin, Hunter Osborn, Logan Osborn, Rayna Guilbeau, Claudia Guilbeau, Hayden Guilbeau, Brock Mire, Savanna Ronco, Brady Mire, Brennan Mire, and Courtney Hebert and husband, Eric; and his great grandchildren, Brentley Magee, Piper Magee, and Sophie Hebert. He was preceded in death by wife, Joyce Theriot Guilbeau; his parents, John Louis Guilbeau, Sr. and Nora Belle Guidry Guilbeau; and his sister, Vida Patin. Pallbearers will be Jimmie Guilbeau Jr., John L. Guilbeau Jr., Logan Osborn, Rylan Hebert, Michael Hebert, and Chuck Patin. Honorary pallbearers will be Adam and Brentley Magee.
