Joann P. Fuselier

St. Martinville - A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am, on Monday, June 22, 2015, at St. Martin de Tours Catholic Church in St. Martinville, for Joann P. Fuselier, 75, who passed away on Tuesday, June 16, 2015, at Iberia Extended Care. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 1:00 pm until 9:00 pm on Sunday, and continue on Monday at 7:00 am until 9:30 am. A rosary will be prayed at 6:00 pm on Sunday. Rev. Ed Degeyter will officiate at the Mass. Interment will follow at St. Michael Cemetery in St. Martinville. She enjoyed playing softball for M & C Contractors and going to the casino to play the slot machines. Joann was very involved with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a mother to many and will be sadly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. She is survived by her daughter, Ginger D (Leroy Jr.) Begnaud; sons, Beanie (Lyndy) Dugas and Bo-Boy (Kaby) Dugas; her step-children, Daniel (Debbie) Fuselier, Steve (Brenda) Fuselier, Arlene (Porkchop) Guillot, Chris (David) Bourque, and Byron (Paula) Fuselier; her brothers, Alfred Provost, Gerald (Liz) Provost, Larry (Karen) Provost, and Ronald (Yvonne) Provost; her sisters, Kat (Lynn) Delahoussaye and Brenda (Ralph) Bergeron; and 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Lunius and Esmay Gondron Provost; her husband, Marcel Fuselier; her sister, Margueritte Robertson; step-grandson, Daniel Fuselier, Jr.; and step-great-granddaughter, Katlyn Hebert. Pallbearers will be Ronald Provost, Larry Provost, Byron Fuselier, Ashton Dugas, Lynn Delahoussaye, Randolph Robertson, and Ralph Bergeron. Honorary pallbearers will be Gerald Provost, Alfred Provost, and Huey Dugas.
