Joanna Hebert Roberts

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, September 27, 2005, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia for Joanna Hebert Roberts, 71, who died Friday, September 23, 2005 at Lafayette General Medical Center. Entombment will be in St. Joseph Mausoleum in Cecilia. Mrs. Roberts was the Valadictorian of her class in 1952. ?She was an avid follower of L.S.U.; and her passion was her children and grandchildren. Survivors include her son, Danny Roberts and his wife, Bridgette; her daughter, Patty Guidry, all of Cecilia; her brother, Rene? Hebert, Jr. of Cecilia; her sisters, Agnes Huval of Henderson and Mae Grace Taylor of Arnaudville; four grandsons, Beau M. Guidry, Chase M. Guidry, Chaz H. Roberts, and Payne O. Roberts; and two granddaughters, Kayli M. Guidry and Claudia Roberts. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henley Roberts, Jr.; her parents, Rene? and Bertile Guidry Hebert, Sr.; and her sisters, Noamie ?Toot? H. Huval, Chlorine ?Pue? H. Huval, Honorine ?Pom? H. Angelle; and Anne ?Dowee? H. Reno. The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 1:00 p.m. ? 10:00 p.m. on Monday and continue at 7:00 a.m. on Tuesday until time of service. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
