Breaux Bridge - A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, September 14, 2022, at Pellerin Funeral Home in Breaux Bridge for Jody Paul Huval, 52, who passed away at his home.

A visitation will take place at the funeral home in Breaux Bridge on Tuesday from 10:30 AM to 10:00 PM and will continue on Wednesday from 8:00 AM until the time of service.

A rosary will be prayed by Clark Schexnider at 7:00 PM on Tuesday.

Deacon Marcel "Butch" Hebert will officiate at the funeral service.

Interment will follow at a later date

Jody Paul Huval, "Jo-Jo" to everyone who knew him, was born June 28, 1970, in Breaux Bridge. He was an old-school oilfield man and worked in the industry for many years. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and cooking on the porch. Jo-Jo was a family man and they meant so much to him. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.

He is survived by beloved wife, Katrina Landry Huval; mother, Janice Huval; daughters, Brittney Huval (Lance) and Kayley Huval; step-sons, Michael Kohlenburg and Casey Brasseaux; grandchildren, Ayble, Ava, Hazen, Carson and Jace; brother Nick Huval; and his sister Tessie Huval.

He is preceded in death by father, Roland Huval; maternal grandparents, Wilton and Yuline Boudreaux; paternal grandparents, Clodis and Anita Huval; and his godparents, Gloria Laviolette and Widley Belaire.

Pallbearers will be Todd Huval, Jamie Boudreaux, Brent Huval, T-Boy Bergeron, Casey Brasseaux, Michael Kohenberg, Oreste Theriot, Patrick Poupart and Jeff Hernandez.
