NEW IBERIA - Funeral services will be held at 10 :00 a.m. , on Wednesday, June 16, 2010 , at Pellerin Funeral Home Chapel in New Iberia , for Jody Charles Leonard, 34, who passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 in New Iberia . Interment follow at Memorial Park Cemetery in New Iberia . Survivors include his wife, Carrie H. Leonard of New Orleans; his mother, Cathy Leonard of New Iberia; one son, Trey Duplantis of Erath; and two daughters, Chelsea Duhon of Delcambre, and Amber Leonard of New Iberia. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Scheffler; maternal grandparents, Henry and Youon Leonard; and maternal great grandparents, Luke and Adez Trahan, and Henry and Eva Leonard. The family requests that visiting hours be observed from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 and continue at 8:00 a.m. until time of service on Wednesday. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Memorial donations can be made to the Leonard family.
