Interment will follow in Beau Pre Cemetery. ; Rev. Ed Degeyter will be officiating. ; An avid wrestling fan, Joel enjoyed fishing, watching wrestling, and especially loved spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed. ; Survivors include his parents, Neil and Regina Duncan of Lydia; sister, Chesley Prince and husband Sonny of New Iberia; nephew, Noah Prince of New Iberia. ; He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joseph and Ruth Vanhaverbeke and his paternal grandparents, Junior and Dorothy Duncan. ; Pallbearers will be Joseph Vanhaverbeke, David Vanhaverbeke, Roy Vanhaverbeke, Tony Vanhaverbeke, Ted Vanhaverbeke, Jared St. Martin. ; Honorary Pallbearers include Stafford Dore, Rory Vanhaverbeke, and Jason Vanhaverbeke. ; A gathering of family and friends will be Saturday from 9:00 AM until 2:30 PM at Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd, in New Iberia. ; Pellerin Funeral Home, 502 Jefferson Terrace Blvd., New Iberia, LA 70560, 337.365.3331, is in charge of arrangements.
