Joey Jude Knott

Cecilia - Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., on Monday, October 8, 2007, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Cecilia, for Joey Jude Knott, 38, who passed away on Wednesday, October 3, 2007 in Arnaudville. Entombment will follow at St. John Francis Regis Mausoleum, in Arnaudville. The readers will be Kioha Kana and Judy Patin, and gift bearers will be Daniel and Drake LaGrange. Joey enjoyed fishing, going to rooster fights, and just having fun while spending time with his family and friends. Survivors include his parents, Albert and Annie Joyce Cormier Knott, of Cecilia; his fianc?e, Charlotte Stelly; his step sons, Daniel and Drake LaGrange, all of Arnaudville; his sister, Loretta Robicheaux; his niece, Raven Robicheaux; and his great niece, Braedyn Latiolais, all of Cecilia. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Aldema Cormier; his paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Clayus Knott; and his brother-in-law, Clint Robicheaux. The family requests that visiting hours be observed at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. on Sunday and continue until time of service on Monday. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday. Pellerin Funeral Home of Cecilia is in charge of arrangements.
